Excimer laser is the most common method used in the treatment of myopia ( not being able to see far objects clearly )
With Excimer laser, photoablation (trimming ) and vaporization ( evaporation ) is conducted in the cornea . Therefore with the impact of each beam, another piece of the tissue is removed and as a result,cornea is trimmed with highest precision. Laser application is used in the treatment of myopia the most in myopia, the center of the cornea is flattened by laser and normal vision is obtained. Who can receive lasik?
